Stretch Specialist & Movement Coach

Joe graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Health Fitness and Preventative Rehabilitation and a minor in Nutrition. His career is rooted in helping others move better, feel stronger, and build lasting confidence in their bodies—regardless of their age, goals, or starting point.

With a heart for both geriatric clients and athletes, Joe thrives in environments where functional movement is the key to better living. From seniors regaining independence to sports players recovering or optimizing performance, Joe brings skill, empathy, and a tailored approach to every session.

Beyond stretching, Joe is passionate about working alongside other health and wellness practitioners—chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and trainers—to create collaborative care plans that lead to stronger, safer, and longer-lasting outcomes for his clients. He believes true health is a team effort.

Outside the studio, Joe enjoys playing soccer, staying active, and constantly learning about what motivates people. His greatest fulfillment comes from helping clients set new goals, rediscover self-trust, and feel capable and confident in their own skin.

Joe’s mission is simple: help people feel strong, supported, and connected to their bodies—at every stage of life.

About us.

Here at StretchWerx LLC, we focus on the entire body. Each new patient will go through a functional movement assessment. Specifically, an overhead squat assessment. This particular movement requires many large muscle groups to work in tandem with one another. Through this assessment we not only can identify overactive muscles within the body, but also underactive muscles. This gives us the information we need to not only address your wants, but also the needs of your body. From there, we can customize each stretching and mobility session specifically to you. The goal is to bring more symmetry throughout the body, which can lead to less compensations, which in turn, can lead to less pain and the body functioning better.

StretchWerx offers both 30 minute and 60 minute sessions. Patients can either visit our location in Troy, MI or we can come to you for more convenience.

Why we are different.

Unlike Stretch Zone and Stretch Lab, which primarily only offer passive stretching, StretchWerx utilizes an array of techniques and tools ranging from PNF stretching to muscle flossing to massage devices to muscle rolling and more. We look at the body from the top down to determine the root cause of your tightness and pain. Just because your low back might hurt doesn’t mean the problem is solely in your low back. It may be coming from either above or below (or both). At StretchWerx, we focus on bulletproofing your entire body.
